More than 200 volunteers donated their Saturday morning to collect over 22,000 lbs of trash and more than 20,000 lbs of tires. In addition, over 7,500 lbs of recyclables were reclaimed.

Events like the Trinity River Clean-up are crucial to keeping our city and communities beautiful and our waterways clean of litter and debris. This important effort improves the air and water quality for all citizens and we could not have done it without YOU.

To truly make an impact on reducing litter and keeping our waterways clean, will require continuous and ongoing efforts. Therefore, KDB's goal is to schedule two major cleanup events every year; one in the fall and one in the spring. KDB's mission is "to empower the citizens of Dallas, through education, to take individual responsibility for enhancing their community environment."
