KDB WINS $265,000 GOVERNOR'S COMMUNITY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Keep Dallas Beautiful won The Governor's Community Achievement Awards (GCCA), the State's most prestigious environmental award in the largest population (250,000+) category, June 26 at the Keep Texas Beautiful Annual Conference held at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Irving, Texas. See photos.

The GCCAs are presented to communities in nine population categories that have the best grassroots environmental programs in the state.

Each year, the nine winning communities share $1 million in landscape prizes from the Texas Department of Transportation for their outstanding efforts to keep their communities beautiful. For more information on KTB's The Governor's Community Achievement Awards. Click here.

Keep Dallas Beautiful will use the funds for a City of Dallas beautification project to be named at a later date.
