EarthFest is the premier Earth Day celebration for Dallas’ downtown community, offering an opportunity to get out of the office, celebrate, learn, and appreciate the environment on which we depend. Every year, Keep Dallas Beautiful partners with the City of Dallas, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Downtown Improvement District to host the largest Earth Day event in North Texas. Annual Operation A.C.T (A Clean Trinity) Cleanup event - April 19th
Keep Dallas Beautiful, Inc. (KDB) is organizes a cleanup for citizens to collect litter and debris from designated watersheds establishing a connection between citizens and the stream that runs through their communities. Citizens see first-hand, the impacts of their cleanup efforts on the condition of the stream and quality of the water. Ultimately, such cleanups encourage and empower citizens to participate in other activities aimed at improving water quality, properly disposing of litter and debris, and participate in other programs within their communities.
The Trinity River is a great natural resource, a great public domain, and can potentially be a model of environmental stewardship. Ultimately, the protection of this natural resource stem from citizens and their volunteer efforts to cleanup the watersheds conveying and filtering water to the Trinity River
.
This annual, citywide program is produced in cooperation with other Keep Texas Beautiful affiliates and their September Trinity Trash Bash Activities.

Tips for making your event green
Citywide Grafitti Wipeout - May 3rd
Every year Keep Dallas Beautiful partners with the City of Dallas to coordinate the annual City Wide Graffiti Wipe Out Day. In addition to drawing hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers to beautify vandalized properties, the Dallas program was declared the best in the nation at the 2006 Keep America Beautiful Conference winning first prize in the Graffiti Hurts competition. The winning prize was a $6,000 graffiti deterrent camera system that KDB presented to the City.
